Ambassador Training

Going way beyond a typical tour guide position, our customizable training instructs your current students in best practices, teaches accountability, and real engagement with candidates. Conducted live or by webinar, we instruct ambassadors in touchpoints that begin very early in the recruitment funnel and move candidates from online engagement to on campus success. Being a campus ambassador provides crucial practice in 21st century skills and builds their resume — all while creating a genuine connection to candidates.

Web Widget

Use of relevant social media drives targeted candidates directly to our web widget on your website where they review all student ambassadors and choose who they will connect with. All conversations are private, but you are able to monitor how often certain words are mentioned to determine if a specific campaign is working, for example a new major being offered.

Our weekly analytics report delivers robust user stats. They dive deep into student response to your campus and competition. With our in app rating/compare feature, student preferences show your strengths and areas for improvement. We also tell you how you rate and rank relative to your competition — in real time. We support three kinds of profiles:
Colleges, Students, and Clubs.

Colleges

Your profile is where the FriendlyU community learns more about your college. It includes your student ambassadors, clubs and organizations, at-a-glance stats, and contact information.

Students

Students create their personal profile with school information, profile picture, and an about me section. They can add pins and a video to share their interests which helps them find
like-minded friends.

Clubs

You invite student clubs and organizations to create a profile with their mission, events, members, and photos. Our search feature and pins allows clubs to reach interested incoming students to join.
